SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,450 lbs at 101.34, heifers 1,297 lbs at 101.02. Dressed 
delivered steers 933 lbs at 163.20, heifers 833 lbs at 163.13.  Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 204.52, up 
2.18, and Select 191.29, up 1.42.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Early weaned pigs 3.00 per head 
higher.  All feeder pigs steady. Demand moderate for light to moderate 
offerings.  Receipts include 44% formulated prices.  Feeder pigs 10-12 
lbs cash basis 12.40; 40 lbs cash basis 15.47.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was not reported due to 
confidentiality. Sows live price 300-449 lbs 17.70, 450-499 lbs 22.05, 
and 500-549 lbs 24.57.
  SC Grain on Monday:  Corn was 3 to 13 cents higher; elevator bids 3.20-
3.80, processor bids 3.60-3.75.  Soybeans were 4 to 6 cents higher; 
elevator bids 8.06-8.78, processor bid 9.13, and export N/A. Wheat bids 
were 4 to 5 cents lower; elevator bids 3.86-4.71.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.46 
higher at 59.84.
